CRASH diet; what to eat?

bought a tux for new years, it's a bit slim, especially in the legs, want to drop 10lbs by new years. I need to anyway as my bulk got out of control. i'm 215ish, should be around 200, but to drop 10 by dec 31 should be fine...

i'm a slash cals, cut out all sugar save fruit, all salt, all anything close to fast food...questions:

1) i actually want to lose some muscle mass on my legs. Since in a normal cut i'd want to keep as much mass as possible i'd eat almonds, fish oil caps etc for good fats. Do i cut those out?

2)for breakfast i eat oatmeal, brown rice at supper time, or ww pasta, whole wheat bread for sandwiches. Do i cut out as many carbs as i can, including good carbs?

3) should i cut out protein shakes or do more of them in place of other snacks? my protein shakes are water/ fruit/ tropicana/ whey powder...

4) do i still do the 6 meals per day thing, drastically reduced, or should i do three or four, cutting out all snacks? my snacks are usually protein/energy bars or PB/ banana sandwiches.
 
forgot to add, it being the christmas season there's parties to go to, and it'll be hard to avoid liquor. what's the best option relative to the diet? i usually drink jack/ coke. is vodka/OJ better?
 
too much mass for my frame anyway. breathing got irregular. at least it was too much, too fast. and rental tuxes look like rental tuxes. They're for high school proms.

Protein sparing modified fast is about the best crash diet out there. Lyle McDonald wrote a book on how to do it. If you really want to crash, that is where I would start.
 
what is protein sparing modified fast?
 
how do i get to read the entire thing? i'm gonna take eph and caffeine so i'd most likely have to do more than 600-800 cals...
