Creatine best time...

Right i'm about to start a cycle of creatine tmo(6 weeks),and just woundering when is the best time to take it?I'm planing on havening...befor training 5gms and after 5gms.But i'm just wondering when is best tme to take it when resting(None traing days)??I have sercht the sight and can't find wot time is best to take it when on days of.

Firstly, you do not need to cycle it.

And ummm.. I like going 5g before I lift and 5g after. That is when I do use creatine, which I'm not right now. Although I have 1000g of it... :cool:

Creatine should deffinatly be takern 30 mins before you workout or it will be more or less useless take time to get into your systerm. Allso take it with grape juice and warm water.

And yes you should CYCLE it for about 6 to 8 weeks then have 4 weeks of then start again. this way you will get better gains and not risk damage to ur kidneys or liver.

for best results try to drink 2 litres to 4 litres of water a day while on creatine will be hard but the creatine will absorb the water into your muscles and help fill you out and give you more power.
 
allso when you buy creatine it should have its own instructions of when to load it and maintain it use them not what anyone else says.
 
Thanx for your help :),not going to bother with the loading phase(seems like a waste a time),an i will be takeing it with Apple juice as i dont really like grap juice.

So doesn't it matter is taken am or pm on none traing days?
 
i allways load it is worth it because it gets your body use to it. okay allways use it 30 mins before training or before training anyway.

You can use it after training to help give you more energy that should be 10 grams that should be enough dont take to near bed time or u might stay awak all night lol
 
Ok thankyou for all you help.

I'll take it befor work (8am) on days when im not going the gym.An on workout days 30min befor work out and straight after.
 
I guess its personal preference, I've searched for this on the forum and I've decided to take the following route:
cycling.....
3 months on, 6 weeks off
5g postworkout (ON days)
5g before bed (OFF days).
 
5 g before bed bollox to that do u get to sleep okay if you do what creatine you using it might be useless. creatine should give such an energy spike i dont think it would be very easy to go bed after taking it.

creatine is better absorbed on an empty stomach. as soon as you wake up take it even before you have a piss. i do not notice an energy spike after taking it. 10 gs on training days and 5 on rest days.
 
well i must admit when i take it at night i dont notice anything except i cant get to sleep for ages. allso when i started at the gym i went straight to creatine i was up every morning going to the gym lifting well.

When i came of my cycle i wasent getting up for gym i was tired and when i did get to gym i found it harder to perform so it shows it works even if u dont see good gains,

its good for power and well being gym wise !

I thinks that's in your head. I don't think creatine spikes your energy. Take it post-workout, and don't load.
 
you do need to cycle ur creatine, the biggest strength gains are made at the start of ur cycle..take ur creatine before you work out with sum concord grape juice, thats the best stuff for absorbtion. i know what im talkin about too by the way.
 
oh yeah and dont do creatine loading..thats just bullshit made up so that you have to go and buy more creatine.
 
I do not agree too with creatine loads!
I might just have some beneffits if you really have a big space between cycles of creatine... Like 1 or 2 cycles per year!
Besides that, worthless. IMO
 
Does the same go for Swole, it's the same thing right? I see guys in the gym drinking what looks like the stuff. Is there any benefit to this?
 
Dunno if they drink Creatine during the training... aren't carbs? Personally i get a little dizzy with that!
