i may have mispelled plateau there, im not sure. anyways, i have heard that after a month or so on just plain creatine you hit a plateau and the gains taper off. is this true? does everyone here taking creatine take one with added sugars, or can you keep seeing the same gains from just plain creatine. ive got some optimum creatine powder now and some champion creatine extreme in the mail, im loading with the optimum already and i think ill switch over to the champion after a month or so.

I want to add a question to this if I may.

Is adding my straight creatine to my post/pre workout whey (with strawberries for post) adequate for a delivery system?

Most of the time I do mix it with apple or grape juice when I have it in the morning before breakfast.

I use apple juice when I take creatine. I don't know about "maxing out" after a month of taking creatine without a so called "delivery system". Buying just plain creatine and mixing it with apple or grape juice is just as good as spending LOTS of money on Cell-Tech or other expensive creatine mixtures. Sure you will see more significant gains when you first start using creatine and then level out but steady work outs will only increase your size and strenght levels.

Without getting all technical and in depth, creatine is basically a cell "volumizer". Water retention is the main benefit with creatine, although there are more cellular level benefits, the main thing you will notice is that you will gain some weight and notice some strenght gains.

It doesn't matter what delivery method you use, home made or premixed delivery system, creatine is creatine. Save your money and use plain creatine and some juice and you'll do just as well as the people that spend lots of money on Cell-Tech.

Good luck either way.

inject some insulin in there with your creatnie if you really want a great delivery system. can't beat that
