My friend recently told me that taking creatine at such a young age (15) would be bad for my health. Quoted from him,'' our bodies are still developing and if we take creatine, our body would be easily influenced and would stop producing its own natural creatine ''. Anybody knows if this is true?

He's wrong, sort of. Natural creatine production is down regulated when you take creatine. It has no bearing on your age per se and is reversed when you stop taking it. Having said that, at 15, you don't require creatine. I'm sure there's plenty of room for improvement in your nutrition and training to be had way before you need creatine to make progress. Take a multi vite with meals, and perhaps a protein drink after your workouts, and focus on your nutrition and training for at least the next 3-4 years before you bother with anything else.

well said.

Will pretty much nailed it.

You get small amounts of creatine from meat anyways, so its not like its a completely alien substance in terms of intake.

The creatine came in a 1000g bottle (by EAS) as a gift and i didn't like it to collect dust so i was just considering using it. Was just quite scared of what my friend said . Anyway thanks for telling me those things, at least i don't have to worry next time :D

Yeah. Well said Will
