I don't change my caloric intake based on whether or not I am on creatine. Other factors determine caloric intake.

Taking creatine has nothing to do with how many calories you need to eat. It has no nutritional value. You always need a caloric surplus to gain weight. Take it before and after, split the dosage in half to take it twice. Only take what is on the instructions.
