I was wondering if anyone knew off hand if drinking Crystal Lite would count towards your daily water intake?

I was thinking it would be in the same respect as drinking Tea counts toward the water intake.

Plus 5 calories (that is in crystal lite) per 24oz can never hurt anyone right?

Personally I don't. I use crystal light or any diet beverage as a way to kick the sweet craving.

I would definatly count it towards total water intake. it is just water with flavoring.

Sometimes I make my own iced tea to get a bit of "flavored" water into my daily intake. I boil 2 litres of water, steep 4-6 fruity herbal tea bags (e.g., raspberry, apricot, peach, or orange). After it reaches room temperature, I stick it in the refrigerator until its nice and cold. Sometimes I put a few lemon slices in the jug when the water is hot to add some more flavor. You can add splenda if you want it to be sweeter, but I often just drink it as is.

But hey, crystal light is ok once in a while, I'd just be concerned about aspartame.

Has anyone tried the new Pyramid Tea Bags, its supposed to be a "cleaner" taste...

You can but remember that all that aspartame isn't very good for you. I get this stuff instead.......

How does this C-Splash stuff taste? I was looking at it and thinking about ordering some. Is it ok to drink this stuff often or in moderation and is it a that much better nutritionally than stuff like Crystal Light?

Yup, it has no calories as stevia is calorie free and natural and won't harm your body like aspartame does. You can drink as much of it as you want all day. It is colorless because there are no added chemicals and dyes as well.
