Pinned my 3rd last night. L/H quad. My first time was the R/H quad and everything was smooth and just a little soreness for a day or two. I noticed last night the final 1/8th inch of the pin going in was very painful for a monent and has pressure. Up to that point felt almost nothing. Using 25x 1" & Test C. This morning the area feels very sore like hit with a bat. Possible nerve hit? There is no issue otherwise.......just sore compared to before.

Tell ya what the glute gets my vote ...NEVER felt a thing:winkfinger:

Yep, probably close to a nerve. Easy to do pinning quads should clear up within a few days max

Yes i have the same thing happen from time to time with my quads. My left one is always pain free, but when i inject my right one i always go EXTRA slow on the way in. I always seem to hit a painful area about halfway in with my right one. Most likely just close to a nerve or passing through connective tissue.

Pinned my left quad this morning. Had do push a little harder than normal to get the pin in. Glutes never give me a problem. Just now starting to get used to the pip I get in my quads but they are so easy to pin its worth the pain.

I pin my quads too because they are so easy and I can use both hands to steady the pin which equals less pip. My left quad always hurts more than my right. Its nothing big but it always hurts pushing the needle in my left one. I think its because I now what its going to feel like and expect it to hurt maybe idk? I never have had a problem with needles at all but when I shoot I get kinda shaky (nothing like the first time) and my face gets hot lol. Its only getting better. I'm not nervous about pinning I actually enjoy it. Its weird, only thing I don't like is the smell of the alcohol pads. Anyway wouldnt worry about it just go slow, deep enough, and don't move the pin around while injecting.

Sometimes its harder to push in the quads do you always using the muscle to walk/workout/life and due to them being a little tighter may have to push a little harder. I to am using the same size and length of needle notice if I don't go the length of the needle or still I have one heck of a Charlie horse the next morning. Imo you will have pip time to time no matter how good the gear is because of our shaky hands and method of pinning. It is what it is, as long as results are good then embrace the lighting.

Yeah glad to hear it ain't just me. I think glute works best BUT I know I will never be able to do the L/H side

Hell Ive never tried the Glutes just seems too damn awkward a position and my bf is probably a little high for inch pins

I switch to 1.5 at that point.:winkfinger:
