Denver Broncos

Congrats!!

The LIONS spanked the Ravens today. 35 - 17

They are in first place too  .... with only 2 wins.

Denver. thats right. tatum bell showing his speed today.

the broncos and steelers are the two teams I hate the most in the NFL. Oh and the Ravens too....really hate them.

REdskins completely and utterly dominated the Broncos today, only to come out with a loss. I'm still at a loss with the way some things went today. How can Patton's catch in the endzone be condidered PI when Ashley Lelie's touchdown catch minutes later was much worse. Or Al Wilson not being called for his blatant pass interference. I'm not just a shitty fan blaming it on the ref, I jsut think that the Broncos were outplayed so badly, and still weaseled out a win...

fuck em.

other than giving up big plays and not making any themselves your right, the redskins were better than the broncos. ha ha ha

Did you even watch the game?

Look at the stats, the referreeing, the atmosphere.

A loss is a loss, I jsut don't think Denver earned their win. 2 rare missed tackles = 14 points for the broncos, while the tuck rule cost the Redskins a true safety, and they ended up losing 19-21.

A 54 yarder (which was good) was called back on a testy false start.

It seemed like the Redskins were getting called for miniscule or phantom penalties, while the Broncos were getting away with murder, and the commentators were even talking about it.

doesn't matter who dominated who. At the end of the game if you have more points you win. Even if they get completly destroyed, a good team will find a way to win.

Seattle beat the hated Rams on the road.

Suck on it, Martz.

yeah, finally!! what a crucial turnover that return was eh pepper. And Alexander had a good day actually.. This was a huge game for the Hawks

ummm...okay, did they do something to you personally?

Washington was overated and we all knew that.
On a side not i'm wondering if Brett Favre loaded up on tren prior to todays game! 52-3 is quite a showing!

?? If anything Washington is underrated. The consensus is usually that they don't deserve their 3-0 start b/c of sloppy, ugly, close wins. They were supposed to lose to Dallas, Seattle, and Denver. With a nearly 4-0 start they are easily underrated.

I don't know how you say they are overrated. They beat Dallas and Seattle, two "playoff" caliber teams.

You people are PISSING ME OFF!!! SHUSH! :shhh: You should all be silently mourning my beloved Eagles.

well, I am from cleveland and a die hard brown's fan. So, I dislike:

1) Broncos- because in the late 80s they nocked out Cleveland in the playoffs and kept them from getting into the superbowl (you know, elway, the drive, byner fumbling on the 2yrd line).

2) ravens- because greedy owner art model took the team from cleveland and some of the most die hard fans in football and moved the to baltimore only to win a super bowl that very year.

3) steelers- only about one and a half hours from cleveland, right over the OH/Pitt border the Steelers are the Browns AFC North rivals.

Shanahan's a good coach and he gets the best out of his players. As far as I'm concerned, he's in the Belichick, Parcells, Gibbs Class. Everyone else is 2nd tier or worse.

Personally, I had much hate for Shanahan and the Broncos for beating the Packers in the Superbowl....but you can't hold a grudge forever...he just plain outcoached Holmgren. In fact, in that game Holmgren folded like a cheap polyester shirt.

That was really lame, a lot like the O'mallys taking the Dodgers to Los Angeles. :dwnthumb:

Don't worry funky 1, the Broncos will get what's coming to them in a week, a shelacking from the 3-time-in-4-year-super-bowl-winning-champion new england patriots.

well, if you are talking about the franchise then yes. but when the cities play eachother the solid rivalry is still there.

were you blind? the 54 yarder he missed to begin with, and the reffs blew the whistle and threw flags before the snap even happened it wasnt questionable. just like i said they gave up big plays. they didnt make any.

It was GOOD, not only do I have Tivo but they were talking about it the next day on FSN. In a next day interview Gibbs was talking about shitty calls, and how after reviewing and reviewing and reviewing noone could see that false start, go look at the play yourself smartass. The whistled was called at the snap, before the kick.
