Dermatologist?

So I have been on Minocycline now for 6 weeks with minimal results. I went back to the Derm today and at first she wanted to just double my dose and give me a topical. I told her I had been researching Accutane and wanted to try it as it is the only cure and I cant stay on antibiotics forever anyways. She agreed and wants me to get blood work in 2.5 weeks and then start the Accutane.

So my question is I am on a decently heavy cycle, should I be worried about my results and should I stop the winny orals or anything else now so that my liver enzymes or any other results may come down 2.5 weeks from now?

Currently Running:
100mg DP Test Prop ed
75mg DP Tren Ace ed
75mg DP Mast Prop ed
100mg DP Winny Tabs ed
12.5mg Sciroxx Aromasin ed

Winny will crush HDL and raise liver enzymes. I would get on Liv 52 ASAP and drop the winny. You may still have out of range values even in 2-3 weeks.

Also the tren is going to destroy your ldl and hdl also. It also will hinder your liver values.

Honestly, I don't think anything is going to be "in range" for a good 6-8 weeks and that would be with an aggressive protocol.

Yea, thats kinda what I was thinking...I am dropping the winny now and starting the Liv 52....Not sure if im gonna drop the Tren or not though.........I could switch over to NPP......hmmmmmm

This thread is exactly why I opted against seeing a dermatologist. You could of been on accutane and done these blood tests if you were worried all for less then what I'm sure you've already paid, granted some people want to be extra careful but the info is out there for you to do it on your own if you did some good research and/or met some helpful people here. Thank god for this forum and the internet as it has already saved me a ton of money.

That has always been an option but I originally went to the Derm to get 2 warts removed and to try some other acne medicine before going on to accutane. The minocycline has helped but not killed it so now I will go onto accutane. Plus my insurance makes it really cheap!

Well that's good. Sometimes insurance won't even cover things like this just comes down to which insurance you have. Hope it works out for you.

So went and got my blood test 2 days ago for accutane. The blood work came back fine so she started me on 80mg a day. I have been on Test and Tren for the past 3 months and still am currently. I was taking winny tabs at 100mg ed but I stopped 2 1/2 weeks ago when she told me I was gonna have the blood test, so I was happy everything for this test came back fine. She told me not to fast, so she said my triglycerides were fine.

holy shit! 80 mg a day? that's ridiculous. I know a couple of guys with some real bad nodular acne and they worked there way up to 60mg then worked back down and it worked great.

My sister only went up to 40 and she could barley stand it.

your life is going to suck especially starting at that dose. If it was me I wouldn't do 80 if they paid me.

I spoke to her about a lower dose protocol but she said that in all of her years with it only a higher dose of 80mg or so will actually stop the acne for good and more than likely not need a second round of accutane. But she said of course if the sides are too much we can lower the dose later on and that's why I have a monthly visit. Even though the tren has made my shoulder/chest acne worse, I have always had some kind of facial acne or the like since I was a kid so I want this to work for good.
