Basically, I do not see a need for fancy weapons. I do not see a need for an automatic weapon. I do not see a need for high powered snipers, nothin like that. Therefore, I wouldnt use them.

But, I do see a need for hunting weapons, ie: rifles, shotguns. And I do see a need to carry a concealed weapon, a pistol. A semi-auto is great, but so is a revolver. Shit, so is a 44mag.

Basically, I wouldnt carry anything that I wouldnt need. A basic saturday night special is even fine for protecting myself.

I see. I thought perhaps you had fallen into the belief that assault weapons were automatics. Im much the same, except I tend to step a bit beyond what I need, as I appreciate guns for their looks and costomizability(sp?) as well as their function.

Granted Ill never be a large collector, my collection will likely stop at a 9mm USP, a .45 tact USP and an M4 Carbine
It seems odd to get the same gun in 2 different calibers, but they both have unique features that make them individually invaluable(to me anyways )
Er, and the M4 of course, is for fighting off the bloody king of England!
