I am 6' 240. I have always taken protien powders two too three times a day religiously. But over the winter I had some stomach problems. So being stuborn as I am I diagnosed myself. I stoped taking protien powder. What I found was this. I am able to eat more food without feeling as full. Now keep in mind I always use a couple of scoops and with 2% milk. Now I have always heard you need about a gram of protien per pound of body weight to grow. I get more then that in the foods I eat and plenty of calories. I havnt taken protien for four months. I have not lost any weight and look and feel just as big, just as strong, and just as good as I ever have. Looking for some input?
