Do steroids really pay?

Wow, you guys over reacted a bit. I simply asked if steroids have ANY negative side effects? Answer me that.
Your comments like:
So your saying that ILLEGAL steroids have NO side effect what so ever? Please, crack an egg of knowledge on my head and enlighten me on the FACTS, sir.
come off rude and sarcastic. You have a caustic approach that causes tension. Smooth the rough edges by not beaing sarcastic when you "think" you are right. We're mostly all friends here ...

I've seen a few guys get a bad attitude with no gear at all just from getting big. As little wee men they were insecure and affraid, but as big strong insecure men they became "raged" easily. Gear had nothing to do with it.

How do you know this? Most people who suffer health problems relating to illegal drugs are not going to tell many people about it. I know I wouldn't tell anyone.

How do we know this? Well, we know from the many years of "abuse" and the resulting related empirical study of what is termed as abuse. Check out this segment of Bob Costas Now as he breaks it down for ya ...

Someone needs to read a thread before he responds so that other people don't have to be repetitive ...

now on a serious note this 10 minute video is for ABCs:

You can't just jump into a thread and sprout off, unless you have a strong knowledge on the subject ... and opinion does NOT equate with knowledge.

You'll do well here ABC ... just slow down a little.

I play Devils Advocate... I am surrounded by politics and talk news for 9 hours a day every single day of my life.... from both parties. It molds you into a Political beast. So when it comes to conversations like this, I will respect your opinion and views... but you better be able to back them with facts and heart before you get any respect from me. And I'm not saying I am some kind of almighty political machine, but i am saying I know my views, my beliefs and the difference between right and wrong. I have enlightened men YOUR age. A friend of my fathers left a family party at my house with a newfound respect for me and the views I stand by. So don't take my sarcasm and aggressive nature to heart as it is mostly a test to the people who come forward with an argument. Hope you see where I am coming from and I am sure things will be great around here. I know I am learning a shitload already. As for the steroids thing, I jumped the gun. I can easily admit where I am wrong and to the men I offended, I am sorry.

You might as well have went to a trailer park and said "walmart blows"!

:roflmao:

Any hormone, or even over the counter drug such as Tylenol can incur negative side effects if used improperly. This should not even be a question, when it should be plain obvious.

I know of one person who picked up chirrhosis of the liver just from over the counter sleeping pills, using them every day for about 3 years. I also know someone who wasn't yet 30 who died from having a couple drinks daily, not everyones liver is the same and when you don't know what you are doing to YOUR body problems can happen. Not everyone was built the same, not everyone can take the same drug regimen and not everyone responds the same.

This is why medicine is PRACTICED.

Birth control is not the same for all women either.

Even ONE drink of alcohol incurs side effects in the body, however undetectable to the outside world.

Outstanding reply. :thumb:

Tom Prince, kidney problems from using Ibuprofen routinely just to get through his workouts. That is abuse.

Muscle Gelz Transdermals
IronMag Labs Prohormones
one word.....actually, one show, well...it was more of a documentary. "The man whos arms exploded" wonderful documentary on the hazards of steroid use. however, the valentino guy is the biggust dickwad i have ever seen, but still. steroids can cause some serious problems. and i actually have a serious question, as i have heard this rumored many times. how are ur guys junk? i heard that deformations and...deficits can occur on our most glorious bodypart. any first hand accounts?

Valentino got where he was from synthol, however abscesses can form from steroid use as well if someone is stupid enough to drop needles on the ground and blow on them as he claimed.

No, your body does not become deformed penis or otherwise. Side effects vary, but testicular atrophy and even erectile disfunction are all possibilities, especially during prolonged use, use of certain compounds, or simply using mass amounts of an HPTA suppressing drug. Everyones body is different.

Not that I disagree with the majority of your views Mudge but as a dedicated beer drinker I must bring up the something I read in the National Household Drug and Alcohol Survey (Im pretty sure thats the name), a moderate intake of alcohol is linked to less stress, less psychological problems and a longer lifespan. Although It's not the beer directly but the positive social relationships a moderate amount of alcohol promotes, if used in moderation alcohol can be beneficial.

As far as steroids go, I think one of the major problems is obsession. I know a number of people that have taken the plunge and they have all become obsessed, none of them will ever go for a beer or on a holiday. Basically I have lost good friends to steroids. Not one of them I would say leads a well balanced life, their life revolves around the gym. I would not like to become that way as bodybuilding is far from my top priority in life. I'm sure their are many users that live balanced lives however I'm not going to take the risk.

When I get to 35 I want to be able to look back at my life and remember all the mad nights out, places Ive travelled to and close friendships I've made. Wheras all the gear users I know will only be able to look back at how big their muscles were. It's their choice and their life but thats not how I would want to live or what I consider a fulfilling life.

how are ur guys junk?
:hmmm:

The health benefits of ethanol that I'm aware of are thining of blood, the calming effect and those that may come from the upregulation of alcohol dehyrogenase. Resveratrol is what makes red wine good, but to get enough you have to drink too much alcohol. Clearly, alcoholic drinks aren't good for the waitline.
