Do you drink?

I drank ed up until 4 years ago...and I drank heavy...it was like losing a friend...but all for the better...now I could care less about drinking...don't like bars or being around drunks....

Interesting side note I read a study on long term alcoholics...and the study showed that even the most severe alcoholics of even 30+ yes had little to no liver damage in some...they all had one thing in common...they were all daily coffee drinkers in the am...something in the coffee bean etc etc..
 
I drank every night from 18 to 30. Juiced from 23 to present. Obviously not a competitive bodybuilder. But had to slow down with work , a child, and I guess getting older (I could not recover like I used to , not even close.) The past year I only drink one night a week and maybe a sunday for football or a BBQ. I can honestly say I look and feel so much better, I started drinking young probably 13 or so, so I never really recouperated correctly from my workouts. When I went from 7 nights to 1 night drinking, I kept all my muscle, lost about 20 lbs of fat and water, and had veins bulging out of arms, legs, stomach, and even my head. I never really ran orals or I'm sure my liver would be fucked. But moral of story, its okay to party but keep it in moderation. I started noticing positive physical and mental changes within a week. When you can lose 20+ lbs and have everyone you know asking you how did you get so much bigger and muscular (even though your actually so much lighter) it makes you wonder what you could have looked like had you not been an asshole and abused your body for so many years. But like someone posted earliar, you can't party like a rockstar and look like a bodybuilder.
 
I drink Odouls. Non alcoholic. I have to monitor the calories still, but alcohol fucks my system up with just the smallest amount that I quit drinking period. The joint pain and headaches and dehydration is not worth it to me.Plus the whole fucking with my liver thing...

i drink on and off. Like a fish.
 
I drink red wine quit often and a few shots of Patron every once in a while. I do try and monitor my AST and ALT though.
