Do you think the outcomes are fixed? Probably not all the time but sometimes.

I would say very rarely but sometimes. Hell, we know sometimes cuase groups have been caught.

Some players, particularly in the NCAA, have been paid large sums to take a dive. Maybe miss a couple shots they could have made near the end of the NCAA basketball game. Some point shaving.

Lots and lots of money involved.

What about a Pro Football game?

Yep

It's definitely happened...point shaving, boxing etc.

But in pro football really the only player who could fix a game and have a significant impact on the game is the QB.

Hagler beat sugar.....he wuz robbed.
No shit, Leonard's big bolo punch landed in Hagler's nuts 2 times w/out penalty. Man that decision still frosts me. Fucking showboater.

as far as pro football, baseball, and basketball are concerned i don't think the games are/can be fixed. 1) how much would/do you pay someone that prolly already makes a shit load to throw the game 2) poor performaces gets players benched 3) to be done successful to many people will be needed to be involved 4) one runs the risk of getting caught and losing their job.

I could see one player getting paid do play crappy, but not the whole team.

I think in football it would be too difficult.

Too many players would have to be involved to alter the outcome of a game and points.

A quarterback could get away with a bad pass that's intercepted perhaps, and a defensive back could pretend to get fooled on a long pattern. Maybe an intentional fumble.

Hell Yes! Basketball is fixed! No doubt about it!

boxing for sure...i would say some baseball and football games as well..Anyone remember the Raiders/Patriots game where the Raiders got fucked over on the "tuck-rule?" They would have won if it weren't for the call...Anyone who has a history of Oakland know we get fucked over on calls...

Hell yes, Hagler is the man.

Even I, the biggest Ray Leonard fan alive think he was given the victory ...

Hagler did what not many in the boxing world have done, walk away at the top of their game and never to return to the ring.

this was not fix u idiot it was a mistake

Phoenix best team in the league fin to get swept........not that shit is fake!

the Suns are not the best team in the league. In the playoffs you have to play great defense and they play absolutely none. San Antonio is the best teamn easily. they are beating them at their own game even, but they play great defense.

yup, plus they have great role players ready to step up and do whatever they need. Robert Horry is huge for them, Mohammed has played well. Brent Barry can do so many things (in fact I say he is underutilized in San An) Bruce Bowen can knock down the three, then their solid three of Parker, Ginobili and Duncan get the job done. Whoever comes out of the east is gonna get smoked by the Spurs, no doubt about it

It will be funny if this shit goes on strike again!
