Hey guys and gals,

Im doing some market research for a product I have in development, due to costs im debating which store I should first release it on. PlayStore or App Store,

The dev company is recommending we go with App Store, but I have switched to android, and I know many who have seen the superiority of the s4 over iphone, So WHAT DO YOU USE!!

Vote Please!

I have the S3 android but I also ust the I pad so I would say the I pad because I cant access as much without the store on the I pad as I can on the droid...

Very good point, While I have an s4 and galaxy Tablet, My wife, and son both have ipads and Iphones. I guess I should of Allowed multiple choices.

Thanks SWFL,

Please select the store you most shop from..

I honestly try to buy as little as possible because I am of the belief that all those little expenses take a big bite out of your pocket over time, I usually go for free apps first and if I like what I see then I'll upgrade to the full version. I would say the I tunes app store is the way to go. I looked at everyone on the plane last weekend an I was the ONLY one with a droid that I could see. what does that tell you?

I just got the galaxy note 2. I had a I phone 4s. This samsung is marginally more advanced. The iphone seems very simplistic now...

Android only...wouldn't use Apple if it was free, it that kind of company model that is destroying the US when it doesn't have to be that way.

Don't listen to people who are haters. It doesn't matter if some people hate a product you need to look at who controls the lion's share of the market your trying to break into. Let that dictate where you start. If you let emotion and not results make your business decisions you will fail faster than you expect. You must look at things unbiased and look at the facts. Kinda like the Zimmerman case ;-)

Droid Does..

Droid....a galaxy2 to boot...old by cell phone standards

works fine tho so I see zero reason to replace it just yet.

Thank you all for the input. Its a fitness related app, that many of you here I'm sure would love. So finding the right market to launch it on is paramount for me. As the cost is insane just for 1 platform so making sure we hit the right platform the first time, will ensure a nice cash flow to re invest in the other store, and Web app.

The poll stands at 11 to 1 in favor of Android, though two people posted in favor of iPhone. The next time you're at the gym, just look around. Do that for a couple of weeks -- in different gyms if you can -- and that'll tell you what you should be targeting.

Will do. I did not think of that. This app is catered more towards steroid users. But can be used for your daily supplements.

Blackberry won't get any more market share. Just like Microsoft. They're both just playing catch-up. That's not how you take market share in the mobile world.

I will need beta Testers, So in 1-3 months when we hit that phase, I will be looking on IMF exclusively for Beta Testers.

Blackberry still has its place in the corporate world. there are a lot of large firms that only use them, it's easy to lock down the security on them. they are still big on Wallstreet, Ernst & Young, etc. because of that.

they still have 80million subscribers and that's not that bad from the US and Canada.

I work with non-financial, multimillion and billion dollar companies. Years ago Blackberry was all there was. In many companies, iPhones and Androids were even outlawed. Now, only a few diehards are holding onto Blackberry. iPhone has made huge inroads by allowing remote wiping. Androids have also increased quite a bit, but not as much as the iPhone. Granted, the companies I deal with are in Cali, so they'll buy the one that's more the status symbol.

I got an iPhone 4s back in early June. The internet works good. I like it. Most people with apple at my gym are guys about age 24- to 36. Girls seem to be ages 18 to 30. I am age 41. and feeling it.
