Have 2 and they are amazing. Wouldnt change a thing. Yeah they do run you into some money, but hey so doesnt everything else in life you enjoy. And trust me whenever I say you will get the most joy out of your children.

because we won't have the arable land to produce food for them...
Feel happiness that some more of the rainforest, or our own North American
wilderness will be cut down to make houses for your kids someday...

We are hypocritical, because we know to Spay or neuter our pets,
otherwise we'd be up to our heads in cats and dogs
But we can't friggin abstain from having 5 fucking kids a familiy...
It is seen as totally acceptable (religion)
People see child rearing as a behaivior that is beautiful and happy
When in reality, it is the single most destructive crime against humanity and our planet

I think it is more responsible to adopt. Let's face it the majority of people have kids for themselves. My older sister has five kids and as much as I love those kids I don't think she thinks beyond her own concerns. I don't think she realizes that if everyone had five kids we would be screwed even more than we already are. And I hate it when people say, "Just wait until you have kids, then you will know." Well I do know and I do care and this is why I have made the choice not to have kids. Yhe only way I would is if I could adopt. I like children too much to mave one or more grow up to deal with all our mess. The planet is going to be a dump in 20 years (if we don't start cleaning it up and being more resonsible for our actions) and who wants to live in a dump?
Most of the problems in modern society can be traced to overpopulation
by as little as two, or even one degree of separation...

This is the truth. Most people don't even take care of their kids properly, but they are too dumb to start using protection, and they spew out more.
I think every family should be allowed to have one child guilt free.
If you think about it that makes perfect sense. After your first child, you have to have your tubes tied or something to that effect. That birth rate would plummet, and the balance between us and our environment might correct itself over time.

one kid... that kid would grow up to be a spoiled bitch then because every one in the family would get him lots of gifts for his birthday and holidays ect. i think its better to have two kids if your going to have kids.

I have my own life and interests... having kids would basically mean everything I want to do and like doing would come to and end and I would basically become a slave to the kids.

I would say his points could be made if he lived in China. Besides for someone to tell me I have no right to have children is ridiculous. I take care of my kids with my own 2 hands. I put in 50+ hours a week so I can support them. I would actually like to know the age of the great monkey man? And if he has ever had children or is he uncapable?

For the record, I am 35, fully capable of reproducing, and have been
asked to do so on several occasions. I have no children; nor am I married
but my last two long term partners have each had two children of
varying ages, and years back I sponsored a little brother...
