Personally, I couldn't really care anymore. Hockey has started to go into the shitter the last 5-10 years. All this Trap defense bullshit has ruined the game. So I never really watched until the playoffs. Don't get me wrong I am a huge hockey fan. The NHL needs to make major changes. But am I missing it.... NO

I am almost ashamed to say I don't miss it. I consider myself a huge hockey fan too, but I have been turned off recently for the very reasons you mentioned, Iain. If the rules are not changed, we'll never again see a player get 70 goals or 150 points.

It'd be cool if some cable stations here showed some of the European leagues, with their wide open style of hockey.

I am turned off from it as well, I only watched the playoffs last year and I don't even notice it is gone this year.

I miss it :(

Of course they had to strike the yr my Leafs were going to take it all!! :yell:

Hey, I never knew hell was going to freeze over this year. :D

I don't miss it yet; when playoff time rolls around I will be missing it.
And yes this was the Leafs yr.

Nope. I think the players and owners are both spoiled rich brats arguing over money and they don't deserve any fan support. At this point I'd rather spend money seeing the St. Mike's Majors than the Leafs. I never liked hockey much anyway. As long as there is football and basketball I'm happy. We have a pro lacrosse team here in TO where you can get entertained for $30 bucks for great seats instead of $200. I'd much rather go to that.

I think the players and owners should both realize that their biggest problem at this point is that NOBODY CARES.

:thumb: ...IMO The NHL is going to have a hard time recovering from this mess.
