Does the local for ironworkers drug test for steroids?

I started my cycle like last week. Just yesterday at the last minute a buddy of mine hit me up with info about the ironworker's so I went and filled out an application. I have a connect so I'm pretty sure I'll be getting in. I'm going back for the apptitude soon. Ultimately I heard I'll have to take a drug test. Do these jobs test for steroids? As far as I know most jobs only test for weed, and opiates. I'd rather not talk to my buddy on the subject if I don't have to. And would suck balls if they do.

Most of the tests for jobs do not spend the extra money for "PEDs". It would be entirely too much money wasted especially when all they care about are mind altering substances.

no they dont. im an ironworker and know pleeennnntttyyy of guys on tons of gear. theyre more just concerned with regular drugs. we have randoms all the time and its just the basic stuff

My local doesn't and I've never heard of any others that do. They only do a basic test for 5 different substances 99% of the time. The 5 point test costs close to $200 in my area and some of these jobs higher 1000's of people at a time so I doubt they'd want to spend even more money on the 12 point test. So go ahead and eat some shrooms after your workout

Even the 12 point one doesn't test for psilocin which is what psilocybin (shrooms) gets metabolized into and could be tested for.

You're good brother.. I've been working in my local for 8 years and have never had an issue.. and I work industrial. They test all the time. Don't sweat it.
