ok so here's the thing - usually I'm a 2 dayer as far as doms... well, during the last 2 weeks, the very next day it feels like I've pounded my muscle group for all it's worth.. I've actually never had this much pain before.

I've just started my cut, my ratio for my diet has been 50/30/20 so far,, my supps have been the same.. so what gives?

Maybe my carbs need to be increased? The only thing that I can figure is usually I do a 4 day a week workout - m/w/f/sunday weights a.m., cardio pm on m/w/f.. but last week I worked out every day, alternating weights & cardio.

Opinions, if you have any please

Have you altered your routine as far as sets, reps, and RI are concerned? You may simply be hitting your muscle in "new" ways.

You shouldn't *have* DOMS, Katt, not at your level of training, just a little residual soreness at the end of the day. What is 2-dayer? mean? I agree with DOMS (the member), this doesn't make sense...

Somethings up (as in, not right). You using omega-3 fats?

Could you be overtraining?

I don't think I'm over training... 2 dayer.. is that when I work out,, the amount of time before I feel the soreness is 2 days.. I've always been that way.

I take fish oils 3 caps a day, (should prob bump it up to 6) multi-vit, glutamine, zma, creatine during workout.

I'm thinking I'm probably over-training.. need a day of rest

I agree 100%

I have seen your journal at MM. You should not be having that much soreness.

When was the last time you took a break or a cut back week?

You may have just been pushing to many weeks in a row.

Has performance suffered?

Getting that sore is usually a sign that you are not recovering.

Yeah, laugh it up! You just magically appear in a thread that has your name pasted all over it, wise guy!

I musta retyped that response 3 times, trying to get it NOT to sound like it came out..(the word 'member' only made it worse)...

Can't win for losing. :)

Katt: guess so. You need 1-2 days rest each week. When is the last time you took a week off? That might be a factor as well.

You know, I was going over my workouts this last week - took Sat & Sunday completely off. Did lower body this morning and felt strong as hell..

I am thinking I need a little break.. I have not noticed the gains like I used to, especially after this morning.. I felt strong but I fatigued really fast.
