I love it.

I'm amazed that when he swung the bat at the pitcher he didn't hit into a double play.

Pitcher broke a finger and the catcher had a concussion.

This guy is an asshole, reminds me of the Juan Marichial incident.

I'll always remember the first time I waited after a game near the parking lot at Fenway. That day we had:

- Bryce Florie walk out with his jerseys and button down shirts a few blocks down until he got picked up by a cab.
- Quilvio Veras hanging around the park for no apparent reason.
- Jose Offerman driving out in his pimped out Benz.

And....

Dante Bichette, earning an estimated $43 million dollars over his career, drove out in a piece of shit red Toyota Echo.

I don't know why that's etched in my brain, but I find it hilarious.

Down to earth kind of guy who values money, not throw it away and go broke while leaving his kids broke.

He's a great guy. I loved him when his kids team was playing in the College World Series a few years back, it's just strange to me that he wouldn't spend more than 10-15 grand on a Toyota Echo when he's accumulated over $42 million dollars in his career.

You never know, I know a few firefighters who live in Long Island and they drive jalopy's to the city but at home they have the nice late model cars.

Good point.

Now that I think about it, it might have just been a rental anyways. He had only been with the Sox for so long.

So when do the pitcher and catcher get a chance to take a swing a Offerman?

"Jose Offerman was so depressed about making so many errors, he tried commit suicide by throwing himself in front of a bus, and it went right through his legs."

Q: How do you spell Offerman?
A: Two F's and a whole lot of E's.

ha!

Remember when he had Chuck "Slob On My" Knoblauch disease and couldn't throw the ball to first. funny joke.

This is the type of personality that will restore the MLB to its "america's past-time" status.
