It's mid-August, which means a few things for fans of the NFL ...

1. Detailed attention on fantasy football draft preparation. (Note: I'm very big on Maurice Jones-Drew, Steve Slaton and Greg Olsen this year, not as big on this slimmed-down version of LenDale White, Tim Hightower or Braylon Edwards)

2. Preseason injuries. (Note: We've already had a few and there's more to come)

3. Loads and loads and loads of talking head preseason "Sleeper" predictions!

you're high on MJD and Slaton, really?

you do know that MJD is going in the one, two or three slot in the majority of ESPN and Yahoo! leagues, right?

if being butt buddies out at the bars is any indication, Olsen should have a good year with Cutler behind center.
