Attempting to start up a new fitness routine, with goals to cut and lean, after taking few months off. The only challenge is I'm limited by not having a bench. Can you guys help with me start things off and design a good workout? Thanks for the input!

Push-ups, old school prison workouts bro

You could add some weight into a back pack for weighted pushups or close grip pushups for tris. You say you have a pull up bar so just switch up the grip for various back and bicep exercises and try standing good mornings with the weighted back pack for lower back and hammies. You have dumbbells so single leg lunges or sissy squats with a dumbbell in one hand should get you a descent leg workout. Good luck bro

There are all kinds of things you can do. Military presses, Arnold presses, front raises, side lateral raises, bend over raise for shoulders. Floor presses, DB press on a resista-ball, push ups, weighted push ups, diamond push ups (close grip), DB tricep extension, for chest and triceps. Pull ups, wide pull ups, close pull ups, chins, DB deadlift, DB stiff leg deadlifts, DB Romanian deadlifts, DB rows, DB bent over rows, DB curls, hammer curls, concentration curls for back and biceps. Lunges, step ups, DB squats, sissy squats, split squat, front squat, farmers walk for legs. I am not saying to do all these, just suggesting a pool of movements you can choose from. It's always best to vary your workouts.

I'm sure there are many I'm not even thinking of.....

With d-bells you can still do many basic exercises. Squats, deadlifts, cleans, overhead press, ect. Pushups, situps w/ your bodyweight, along w/ pullups with your bar. Many things can be done with little equipment. Get creative, and good luck!

Quoted for Truth! :winkfinger:

Thanks again for all the input. Time for me to get the creative juices going.
