Like everybody I'm always on the road: to work, shopping, pikking kid at school etc.
HOW do you manage to eat in the day?? Do you eat everything cold?? From a box or a cooler??
We don't have a microwave where I work ! Only a waterboiler!!
I need some tips to be able to eat the right stuff while away from my kitchen!!:hmmm:

Make everything first, and put it in plastic containers and bring it with you. :thumb:

okay I am currently in contest prep, working, and I have a 2year old. So here is what I do.......I cook a batch of chick/fish however you like. Sometimes I cook chick in crockpot cover with water and any saltfree seasoning let cook, or rotissere, or grill etc.......fish oven/grill. Then I measure out what I need and put in containers in fridge. I cook a batch of brown rice, sweet potato fries measure out put in fridge. If I have to eat it cold then so be it.........I always carry this tote thing that is a cooler. Even if I think I will be home, I carry my food you never know when plans change. I use mustard on my chick(low sodium condiment no sugar no fat) the sweet potato fries are like candy cold, I put cinam, allspice, liquid english toffee stevia and bake. For my am meal, I make eggwhite/sweet potato/oatmeal/banana extract/liquid stevia muffins, that way in the am after cardio I can take out of the fridge and eat without waking the house. also do the same for veggies, cook and measure out. I competited for the first time 2 weeks ago, doing another show in 1 week. You can plan out your meals even if you cant cook or reheat............DEDICATION--Hope this helps:)

i have great admiration for people this dedicated and organised to prepare meals in advance cus i can't do ti for shit lol

woUAHHH I'm impressed!! I'm pretty busy too and I end up with a sandwich from take out if I'm lucky!!
I guess I'll purchase a cooler as well! Is it just a coolerbag or you mean the hard thing you take out to the beach or something???
Sorry for asking so much but I'm quite "novice" in eating right AND planning!:D

AND I'm a recovering vegetarian = just starting eating chicken a few adys ago!!

I put mine in foil and put it on my engine as I'm driving, not really but thats a viable option, hell just get an inverter for your car and plug an easy bake oven into it and heat your stuff there.

You can get a thermos that plugs into a cigarette lighter outlet in your car, just make a shredded chicken/veggie/brown rice jambalaya and heat it in the thermos!

Easiest answer would be to buy a small cool box/bag, and to take food which doesnt require cookin. Sandwich/ salads/ cold potatoes/chicken etc.

kisawa1--I found a "tote" bag cooler that is insulated and just put those frozen block things in there......found online, easier than a hard cooler. I carry it while shopping whatever.....noone even knows its a cooler! Works great.

I keep whole grain oats at the closet at work. I also take some fruit with me. I'm not really on a particular diet though - just trying to eat healthy for now. I'm thinking about going on a cutting diet soon though.

I have a cooler heater box (I forget what's it called) that I keep in my van.
Paid only 34.00 at CVS.

Stilln not found a heater device for in my car!! I'm glad it's summer time and right now it's too hot to eat hot stuff!;)
Still searching though! Maybe I should go to a camping shop!! I found a cooler bag for 3.50??? which is great!! and big!!:clapping:
This board is amazing: So much great stuff!

ck out cooltote.com thats where i got mine from--works great! Big, and has 2 pockets inside, which I put the cold paks in (thermal tote)
