are you talking about ephedrine/caffeine stack? if so then i know people who have used ephedrine solo in pct plus clomid who feel it helped keep gains.

Personally I love the E/C/A stack, I been bulking for 3 years+ so I have gained a little more BF than I would have liked to but I just recently started using e/c/a and have lost 10lbs in 2 weeks! I haven't changed anything with my diet or my workouts except I have lowered the weight (cause of joint pain) therfore doing more reps! 25mg Ephedrine, 200mg caffeine, and I take 325mg of aspirin, I'll take the Ephedrine and Caffeine 3 or 4 times daily but the aspirin only once! Oh yeah, I drink around 10 coffee mugs a day of good strong coffee too!
I would advise against ECA during PCT unless you're using it as a PWO boost. In PCT you want to focus on keeping gains, not losing any of them. Cut after PCT, not during.
It's insane the effect ECA has on my workout intensity....
There are some studies showing that Ephedrine has muscle sparing properties compared to dieting without Ephedrine....but the real question is whether you should be trying to lose fat during PCT. This is typically not recommended, however I'm planning on going on a low carb/high fat/high protein diet during pct in an effort to stay lean...similar to the Anabolic Diet.

Keep your cals up, trying to lean out in PCT is a mistake IMO. You may appear leaner due to dropping water, but you want to hold as much weight as possible until you are somewhat recovered i.e. after 4 weeks of PCT.
