Are natural pb, walnuts, and olive oil considered EFAs??
I have 3 tablestoons of flax seed in the morning in my shake, and some pb before bed, walnuts with my meal 2 and 3, and a very little olive oil with my dinner, also thinking about getting fish oil caps, is that enough?? (im cutting)

ALSO:: How much carbs should i be intaking, i weigh 166lbs, 5'11 or 6'0 and im cutting right now.
lift heavy 4 days a week, HIIT 1 day a week
 
There are only 2 EFA's - and you can get some from these foods - you can read about it here.

And with regards to carbs - no one can tell you that. It is really an individual thing.
 
When should i take fish oil caps??

One per meal like 4 or 5 a day?
 
I can't remember who, but I asked this same question and someone said to take them with your other meals with EFA's... I take mine (3 fish oil & 1 flax) with my meal 2, which includes my walnuts, c cheese & fruit....

Hopefully I'm taking them at the correct time.
 
Taking 1 per meal is not needed.

Either split into am and pm (eg: 3 in the morning and 3 in the evening) or split them into 2-3 meals that have less fat during the day.
 
I take 2tblspoons flax 2 times a day, 6 fish oil caps 2 times a day. e.v.o.o with my salad. Nuts sometimes. and salmon. so i belive i am covered and i am 6'5 and 245 and also cutting.

So Emma - do you think the quantity that I am taking is an accurate one?? 3 fish oil & 1 flax? I'm 48, 5'4" & 128 lbs.... I have gained 4 lbs of lbm in the last 5 weeks and lost 2 lbs of fat... I'm trying to gain lbm

6-8 caps per day would be better for the Fish oil. Flax is ok and not as important IMO :shrug:
