I had an EMG today on both of my legs, feet and hips. It feels like I just did a leg day with Arnold.

Meet the EMG electrode needle, it is inserted into your muscle and electricity is shot through it, it's a wonderful deep cramp llike feeling. My legs are so sore today thank god I have drugs for pain and I can still feel the soreness.

I had that on my shoulder and neck area. It was the most uncomfortable thing I've ever experienced.

Whats the EMG for, like what did you do to your muscles that you had to have that treatment?

I've been having lower back pain for the past 3 month's an mri didn't show a significant bulge or herniation in any of my discs so now they think it's a bone spur rubbing and pushing the disc. The doc wanted to find out if there is any nerve damage and where the pressure is giving me the most tingling and numbness in my legs and feet so he did the EMG and Nerve conductivity tests so he can pinpoint the problem area.

Not to scare you or anything, but lower back pain is symptom of many types of cancers of the abdominal region or those that have metasiticised to other areas. That said, if they can't find the source of your pain/numbness, you should get some things checked out.
