ESPN.com running taylor hooton story

On the home page of ESPN.com, they are running a video on the taylor hooton story. Is it that ESPN is actually oblivious to the fact that the kid was already on anti depressants or do they just not care? It blows my mind how one sided the media is on steroids.

my house mates was picked up on false rape aligations, never found guilty. day 1 media coverage was insane, and still playing in the media for about a week after.

its funny they never mentioned how he was found innocent.

my point being all media is the same. blows everything out of proportion and do anything to grab your attention.

no your right, the kid had issues before hand, its could have been a ton of factors and not neccessarily the gear. The kid had issues, if his parerents want to blame it on the gear than let them, they may sleep better. Kids commit suicide, maybe the next time it happens its because (fill in the reason). If ive learned anything in my life things normally dont happen for a singular reason, they are the cumulative product of many factors. Shit pisses me off espn would even run that. How many teenage boys kill themselves? im sure its a few thousand a year at least, and even more young girls(do we blame the steroids their on, birthcontrol?). Its a joke esspecially cause the kid was on anti depresents, no shit he killed himself, im sure he thought about it for years and that is why he was on the script, they dont just give SSRIs to happy high schoolers, grow the fuck up espn
