Woo-Hoo!
Probably a ho hum announcement here, but for a guy that had no clue what a calorie was three months ago I'm pumped. Using Fitday and wathing the scale I finally noticed a weight gain after ratcheting up calories week after week. It looks like my mainenance level is apprx. 3200-3300. (Which not surprisngly is right abou where various calculations had it...3,224 for a guy my age...40...and my weigth...208).
I had been wondering why the heck I wasn't gaining any weight as I increased calories from 2500 to 3200. Over the last two weeks I averaged 3,334 and 3,454 calories respectively. The result: Bodyweight increased from 208 to 209.
So, no biggie for most of you, but finally I can put a damn stake in the ground on this and bulk or cut around it.
Now of course I can worry about too much fat gain on this slow bulk.
