Hey, so I have been having this problem for a while and it is definitely a huge cardio turnoff for me. I often train strength based body weight exercises, never any weights. I hold a lot of explosive strength. For example I usually do things such as muscle ups, levers, slow handstand presses, and I am just shy of a solid one arm pullup. I do those types of exercises on a daily basis but never really do straight cardio work such as running. The reason I don't is due to a feeling of extreme nausea and excessive tiredness after stopping which lasts for about an hour. Just now I almost passed out in the shower after working out, then laid down on my bed and had to sleep for about 30 minutes before I had enough energy to get back up.. My recovery time is insanely slow and I'm not sure if it's possibly a medical condition, so I would like some input if you think it can be.
another thing is that when I exercise I find it extremely difficult just to break a sweat, I always have. For example, when exercising with a partner (who is in shape) I will often stay bone dry while my partner gets drenched, even if I am doing a higher intensity workout than him. I always make an effort to eat healthy foods and maintain a balanced diet, I have about 2 cups of coffee a day but supplement that with a bunch of water as well as a large can of coconut water since I know coffee is a diuretic.
I am in my low 20's, male, and wondering why I get winded so quickly and recover so slowly. Thank you
