I've never eaten a sponge, but if I ever did I imagine it would taste much like this.

Anyone else give this stuff a whirl before? I have the Ezekiel 4:9 Low Sodium version.

I think it taste great, but I've never gotten the low sodium stuff.

I use it all the time...But I wouldn't recommend using the low sodium one as that one tastes like a sponge, like you said. Get the regular ezekial, and throw it in the toaster.. :D

Yeah I toasted it, about once a week I will have a tuna sandwhich and two fish oil caps or some almonds for meal four. Sometimes I'm on the go and its an easy meal to bring with me.

That being said, I figured I'd try getting the sodium intake down, since fitday told me I was a bit high with that. I look to other places though. I'm not going to throw the stuff out, but it downright sucks.

I love it - has such an amazing taste. I went back to regular whole grain bread for one week and missed the taste so much.

The only exception is making toast when I'm sick, I like to toast breads with wheat in them. Seems to come out better.

I wouldn't get too bent out of shape. The regular kind only has 80 mg of sodium. If your THAT worried about it (and I don't think you should be) get low sodium tuna instead.

ezikeil bread tastes friggin awsome to me..

i eat it all the time.

I love eziekel bread!!!

Yeah I'm not that wound up about it at all. I wanted to trim some sodium and when I went to buy bread the other day I noticed there was a low sodium option. To be honest I never thought much about the sodium in bread.

Recently I've stoppedd drinking coffee and have switched to low-carb monster. Its better and my stomach doesn't feel knotted all day like coffee did. Strange deal too I've drank coffee for years with no issue, start eating clean and my body kicks it away. Anyhow my point is that the low carb monsters do have a fair amount of sodium in them. In fact I drink one in the morning, and then one pre-workout. I wonder I wonder.......:finger:

Yeah, I had one of those today, but I have no problems with coffee so I followed that with a quadruple sugar-free camel latte.

I used to worry about it, but now I don't pay much attention to it. There are things that have WAY more sodium than monstor or bread like next time you see a package of beef jerkey check out the sodium content.

Where can I get some of this bread? Health food store?

I can get it in my Grocery store. It will be kept in a freezer though.

i eat it all the time.

I eat a tuna sandwich almost every day on 2 slices of ezekial...Is this a fine carb source to have daily? On a cut? I read that the GI is 36 :thumb:
