Hello,

Just wondering if anyone can offer any advice.

Im getting that shitty sick feeling lately and it just seems to be everytime i train legs. I am thinking maybe it could be a breathing issue but do try and controll this. If anyone has any knowledge on this or on whatever else they think it could be then please fire away.

I know im leaving myself open to the "man up" comments etc but just feel it could be stopping me getting the best from my workouts as i tend to lose intensity in my workouts through it.

I eat (Eggs, Cottage Cheese and toast) a good hour before my workout so i dont think it could be that

Thanks in advance

Perhaps space your meals more before the workout. Maybe try it two hours before, or have a smaller snack the hour before. When I'm all carbed up I get the same feeling, especially on the decline leg press when my knees press up into my stomach

Why a breathing issue if you feel sick -like to your stomach.what are u on .Tren can cause decreased respitories.-stomach flu..?..do u have asthma ?really need more info to Dx...

what kind of session are you doing - squats and heavy presses, or more like curls and extensions? If you are sticking to heavy compound movements - there's nothing wrong with feeling a little queasy! Btw - I would never eat eggs or dairy within 2 hours before training - I would probably barf every time - but that might just be me! I have a drink of a cup of oats mixed in a whey shake with a banana about 90 minutes before training - no issues, and it definitely helps me power through.
Hope this helps.

^^^^^Good advise. Cottage cheese is casien, slow digesting. Try a half a serving of isolated whey and some carbs to start and work your way up. Then have a bigger recovery feed post work out. You will know when to bump it up if you get hungry during your workout or lose energy.

Cheers buddy, going to give this a whirl, Im going to look at changing what i eat pre workout just for leg days at first then if it works and i feel more energy aswell then ill change it for the other workouts.
Tbh a i would be reluctent to get replace my current eggs, cheese and toast becouse im getting alot of what the body needs from food instead of supplements (and it goes down a treat)

Oh and yes i mainly just train around heavy compounds, i do very little in the way of isolations. I do expect to feel a bit sick every now and again but like like a said it just seems to be everytime on legs and its pissing me of a bit now

Thanks

Do you have a problem with heartburn?
