A jury has found Dharun Ravi, the former Rutgers student accused of spying on his roommate Tyler Clementi, guilty of some bias intimidation charges, as well as charges of invasion of privacy and tampering with evidence. A jury found that Ravi used a webcam to spy on Clementi in September 2010 and that he did it - and told others about it - because of a bias against gays. Clementi later committed suicide by jumping off the George Washington Bridge.

I saw an article that an appeal was entered against serving 30 days. If Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton can do a few days so can he.

I think he should have gotten more than 30 days.

It could have set a stronger precedent.

Think of how easy it is to set up a camera and video-tape someone privately and having sex. Embarrassment, blackmail, and all kinds of things can happen with people doing this stuff.
