what's proper sauna etiquette in terms of attire?

I wear a two piece if I'm working out while in there....

If I'm doing it for relaxation....then it's nude with a towel.

Not at all sweetie......When I'm trying to drop a lot of water..........I'm in their wearing a sweat outfit!

to be quite honest with you I have only been in a sauna once when I was younger at a hotels sauna after swimming. so with my bathing suit on.
but I cant handle them.. they heat up too much and I can breath, get real light headed.

I would have to honestly say...there is no "proper" attire for use of the sauna.

There were a couple times my trainer sent me in the sauna like this:

Step one: Put lotion on>............makes you sweat bullets while working out. It's a million times worse in the sauna!!!!
Step two: Wrap self in plastic body wrap.
Step Three: Put wind breakers on
Step Four: Interval Sauna Training for 20min at a time..

PS: For more steaming, bring a water bottle with you and constantly squirt the water in the coals.

i only used it before my contest...10 years ago. and that was different b/c the gym was small, i worked there and no one EVER used the sauna but me.

i used it final week before and really liked it. last night i noticed my gym has one and i thought about using it and realized i had no clue how much clothing was too much.

My gym's sauna is for both sexe's so its prob best to have atleast a baithing suit on. As for too much, I have seen wrestlers there in ther warmups and hoodies counting the beads of sweat that drip off their nose LOL
