Former cancer patient

I have a friend that has been clear of cancer for 2 years now and his doctor has him on test treatment of 100mg every other week, He is wanting to run a higher dosage of 500mg a week for 10 weeks. Is this safe for him to do?
He had Acute Lymphositic Leukemia and has been clear for just over 2 years now.. Thanks for any insight on this

I don't know if i'm qualified to answer this but I am a 2 time cancer survivor. My doctor has me on more then double what you friend is taking and he is not concerned. It might depend on what kind of cancer he had but i'm thinking if it was a possible concern his doctor would not have him on any. Tell him good luck and if it was me I would blast at 500mg.........

When I say this please understand I'm no expert and not a doctor.
When they treat cancer they typically administer drugs to lower estrogen levels not test. Estrogen feeds cancer cells to grow. This is why women w breast cancer r given aromasin. Letro or other such AI's.

I would suggest if he does do a blast to also use a good AI to keep his estro low and under control.
If he uses aromasin split the does into a morning and even dose.It has a sort life span. Splitting the dose will keep ur levels even through a 24hr period.
The reason I suggest aromasin is how effective it is and how easy it is on ur body. Also less change of a rebound effect when u stop using it.
