Freezing temperature

Ladies and gents,

I left my gym bag out in my car more than a few nights which contained some vials of gear. Temperatures got to below freezing on some of those nights. What effect does those temperatures have on oils? Thanks

If its still clear and in liquid form then no problem. If it was crystallized. Then you can bake it or simmer it. Just pin a pin in it to vent it as the oil expands as its heated. I like simmering the vial in a sauce pan for 20 min carefully place it in a pan measure the water so it submerges the vial but not the very top. Put a pin in to vent and watch it so you don't boil it too hard to knock the vial over, which would ruin it if un sterilized tap water got in. Boiling temp is 212 at sea level. If you bake it, 90% of ovens have a shitty thermostat and won't stay low enough to not over heat it. Which is why I like the boiling method. Once you boil it it should be clear and not crystallized if its cloudy it doesn't mean its garbage but it might mean its crashed, but try just .5ml in a spot you know your pretty good at pinning with little PIP and see how it goes.

Ha! Thanks but I'll be the first to tell you I don't know shit. I know just enough not to hurt myself. Seems like the more you learn the more you realize you know very little
