Looks like your typical shitty horror remake to me. No name actors/actresses. Jason wasn't even in the first one. Completely unnecessary in my opinion. I would love for some new ideas to come out regarding horror flicks.

I've lost all interest in horror movies now that I'm older, they just don't have the same effect...maybe thats why so many of my friends moms wouldn't let them watch stuff like that so they wouldn't get desensitized and be able to still get a jump out of them.....

They definately don't make them like they used to. Halloween, Omen, The Shining, Child's Play.

But to be fair, there have been some good horror movies in the past 10 or so years...Sixth Sense, Scream, etc.

I see Sixth Sense as a Psychological Thriller more than Horror and Scream to me was a dark comedy.....
