From My Cold Dead Hands

I like him

9-1-1 WHEN SECONDS COUNT THEY'RE THERE IN MINUTES

Yeah! These damn politicians with their do as I say not as I do leadership, can all go suck on the business end of an 870 P or they can shove it up their asses and do their best impression of a lollipop.

I like when he pointed out that his daughter isn't afforded the same protection that they're afforded their at the state house. "It was nice getting frisked on the way in here.."

Problem is, he probably would have had a better chance on getting his point across to a brick wall or a refrigerator before ever getting it across to a politician unless he payed them money

He said very well what millions are thinking.

I'm all for rights but I think not everyone has the IQ to have a gun and i think a BASIC test (like a drivers test) should be completed by anyone wishing to hold a gun.

When I think cold dead hands; I think about... "The stranger"

thanks to the folks at urban dictionary
the stranger
To lay on one's arm so as to deny the passage of blood and ultimately loose feeling in the limb, followed by the act of mastrubation with said limb.
"I gave myself the stranger last night."

That guy rocks! He sounded like he was keeping himself in check the entire time.

the best thing is he does not have the persona of the "text book" gun owner. He looks extremly professional and educated. Most people think of gun owners as red neck vigilanties and do not understand the complexity of the weapon system that we operate and the intelligence that goes into engineering parts, reloading rounds, factoring windage, and hunting. I think he will help open the eyes of many people.

You're absolutely right. Weapons are demonized as "killing machines" by the left-wing media. When in reality, a firearm is an inanimate object. It will not function without the input of an individual. There is evil in this world and no amount of legislation will prevent evil from occuring. It's a shame that guns are demonized in the manner that they are, when most of the time, the media has no idea what they're talking about. For example, just the other day on CNN's Piers Morgans show, he was talking about the "killing machine" known as the AR-15 and they posted a picture of an AK-47. I mean, come on; if you're gonna take a defensive stance against firearms, at the very least, know what you're talking about.

Finally, you have this bitch...did you know that it IS possible to be shot with an unloaded firearm? SMH.

people are impulsive and thats the issue... taking time to calm down or think things through is sometimes doesnt happen too quick.
not having a quick way to kill or hurt makes somone double think. if you have to use your fists a guy double thinks.. thats just the normal guy NVM the people that do mean harm and have them so easily available...

guns dont kill people, peopel kill people...... true , but guns make it alot easier... thats the point.

Yeah. My daughter is a teacher in Tennessee. I asked her about teachers carrying while on the job. Her biggest fear is idiot teachers who would likely leave their gun on their desk while at lunch, able to be picked up by anyone.

Comprehensive education, testing, fine; a no-brainer. But we do need protection for students from the maniacs. Capable, carrying teachers seems a good idea.
