I'm in the gym tonight doing my leg routine and after I'm done with my squats some guy asks if Im done.. Then he asks if I'm training for any sports or anything like that. After I say no he tells me I should be doing full squats and anyone who says the knee shouldnt bend like that is full of shit, it was meant to bend all the way. Is there anytruth to this? What do you guys think of full squats?
This is where the story gets crazy. He asked how long I've been a member and said I'm still eligible for 3 free training sessions and to leave my name at front desk. We went on to talk and he said I should be training every body part 4 times a week, at least. Something about different kinds of strengths or movements, I kind of stopped listening here.. He said elite coaches are trying to figure out how to get there athletes to train each muscle 6-12 times a week
.. wtf?
He then went on to say that I should do lunges also since I'm a beginner becuase my legs need to be evened out in strength and trained seperately as opposed to together with squats.
Should I take anything from what he said?
