I'm a jackass and did it again; 60 page research syntax for networking and I'm typing it the night before. I actually have it all done with full topologies/diagrams, but fuck 60 pages is still a lot of typing and formatting to do.

I did 320 pages of documentation for Senior Project in 3 days. I'm still dragging from sleep debt. On day for I had to pump out 80 pages for Senior Demo, and finish my prototype.

All I got to say is fuck school, I am done.

No you aren't....just wait until you get a real job and have to make reports, stay late to meet a deadline, or your companies busy time hits like mine right now Tax Credit Crunch time when everybody is making a mad rush to get a solar system installed before January so they can get the tax cred for this year....I would rather write 5000 pages for a book review on the dictionary than try to deal with this right now....at least I'd know what was coming 10 minutes from now......

Wrong! If I am being paid for a report, I will put my soul into it. School is bullshit paper work that I am having to pay to write. I can pump out 200 pages a day easy which is not anywhere near what I will have to do in network engineering.

Sounds shitty Im slacking I have a review of this new fungus found in Panama and have been studying my ass off for my physical chem final . I need a 62 on the final to pass the class but that just seems impossible right now with all the material.

My sompanmy is at a busy point right now too. Turns out Ledcor fucked up with their drawing revisions, and a week before theyy're done the piping, they ask us to see if all there revisions are up to date. Some of their revisions are 4 behind ours...which means they might have to dig up the pipes and start all over again. This, plus our convero reports, plus our transittals, plus data entry, plus finding superintendents other documents, and to finish it off, we have to do the book keeping. UGG

I have the most important test of my life tomorrow and you can bet your ass I'm going to bring my "A" dick along with my number two pencil to it.

P.S: I hate Finals.

Takes me no time at all to pump out config scripts and topologies, but the syntax is like a 60 page combination of topologies, scripts, descriptions of every single command types, test cases for all topologies, etc...

Kelju: By the way, you gonna go for the CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE at all?

+1

I have one on Monday in addition to a 15 page paper and then three finals on Tuesday starting at 7:30am. Moving out Wednesday, graduating Saturday :).

I kept my current job, and I will be studying for my CCNA. I have plenty of cisco books, a 5460 Cisco emulator, and some cisco DVDs. I figure about a month of studying and I should be able to ace it.

Cool - let me know if you need any help. I just passed my CCNA at the end of November, so now I'm aiming for the BSCI/BCMSN parts of the CCNP this winter break - a class I took last semester covered both portions.

Point me in the direction of the best CCNA test prep material.

CBT CCNA Nuggets (videos), CCNA Flashcards/Book, TestInside CCNA practice exams

They literally changed the CCNA 2 days after I took it though. The reason I took it in November so was I wouldn't have to worry about IPv6 and wireless on it :)

Shit when I was in college I put extra effort into everything...my philosophy was that if I'm going to pay out the ass for this then I'm going to make it worth it, I was determined to graduate top of the class even if it meant sacrifice a few nights sleep to stay up and triple proof read my Networking Request for Proposal Consultation Project or debugging my VB Electric Rate Data Translator Module.

Well Good for you. I had absolutely no intention of graduating top of my class. I had the intention of doing the best I could. I did the best I could considering being dirt poor for 6 years and working a full time job. My 3.02 is just fine for me.

My company is so slow around this time of year. Everyone just drinks coffee all day. I drink hot green tea.
