The most logical man that ever lived. I was lucky enough to see him perform before he passes. When people ask who you would pick if you could spend one day with a person, I've always said George Carlin.

Saw him perform at the Lancaster Host hotel back in maybe 1993 or 1994. He had quit smoking and told people that if they smoked he'd have them thrown out. lol
...

Great Thread! George Carlin was a man with understanding, and a great comedian.
He was super negative though, fuck him. We need hope now a days, and things will get better if we unite and teach the youth some manners.

You misunderstood me I suppose, when I say he is negative I refer when he comments towards humanity. He has said in various interviews that he has lost all hope in humanity and the future, well now a days hope is needed to change things around. without hope we as the people can't change things around.

Humanity is not fucked as of recently. We've been spiraling downward since the beginning of time and will continue to do so until we are all gone. And let me tell you about hope... There's a difference between hope and taking action. You can hope in one hand and shit in the other and see which one fills up first.
