Recently I've been finding that I've been getting really sick of the foods I used to eat all the time. The two main ones are plain almonds and oatmeal. I used to eat these up happily all the time, but now it's as if my stomach won't even accept them - seriously, I find it really hard to consume them.
This ever happen to anyone? I knew I'd get bored of the way they tasted eventually, but I didn't realise my stomach would become so hostile towards them :(
D'you think in time my body will just forget about them, and I can get back to eating them like before?
Thanks ;)

I have gotten sick of oatmeal and tuna in the past. Just eat something else in their place. Or maybe you are just sick of the same way that you prepare them (ie tuna always with oil). Get creative with them. If you are sick of plain oatmeal try adding 1tbsp. of all natural pb. or 1/2 apple to give it a different taste. Or I like eating the oats raw/uncooked mixed into a scoop of whey protein with water. It tastes really good.

Just get creative with your meals if you are sick of the same old thing everyday.

Change up the diet, and do you have a cheat day? I sure do.

Just curious Mudge, or anyone for that matter, if one were on a bulking phase, how would you incorporate a cheat day without putting on too much fat?

If I were bulking I wouldn't do a cheat day becuase you are already eating in a calorie surplus so you don't want to throw a bunch of crappy calories on top of that. (That is if you are doing a clean bulk. If you are not doing a clean bulk then in my opinion your whole bulk diet is like one big cheat:D ). If you want, have a cheat meal. Pick a day and at the end of the day, to keep you from ruining the entire day, give yourself a window (ie 7pm-10pm) and eat what ever it is you crave or feel like eating. Go ahead and cheat.

Yeah, figured a cheat day would probably not be a good idea, eh, we'll see about a cheat meal, I'm usually good at disciplining myself, I can probably survive without it. Thanks.
