It is an ok movie. Not great. If you dont see it, you wouldnt have missed anything great. Noticed a few screw ups in the movie. Biggest one was when Nicholas Cage is getting a wound on his shoulder sewn because he got stabbed with a 3" knife. But less than 10mins prior to that, he got crushed between 2 trucks and survived!
Good small review and NO SHIT! He needed stitches for the knife, but not for the trucks...or how about all the gun fire?
I saw it last night. I thought it was a cunt hair better than The Punisher (newer one).
It was thrown together. Hardly any thought was put into it. Not to mention, I am getting sick of these childish spooks or "oohs & awwws" put into these movies. Why must a villain glare into the camera and scream? Oh why should the camera focus on someone's eyes, then right when they open, play a sound effect or musical score? Why must everything seem so epic? Batman Begins was top notch cuz it hardly had ANY cheese. Comic book movies, regardless of their comic book heritage, should NOT have a shit load of one-liners.
Speaking of dialogue, this movie's blew. Christ was it bad.
Music? Fucking guitars every 5 min of action. Seriously, why every time?
The villain? Shit, he AND his henchmen (especially them) caused Ghost Rider zero threat. Seriously, where was the "challenge?"
I also didnt really like Ghost's skull. I wanted it to look more fossil-like, dirtier, older, something!
On the positive side, I thought Eva looked her best in this movie. Better than in Hitch. I loved who played the Devil, best character of the movie. Ghost Rider's voice and laugh was awesome. I just wished he didnt say shit like "youre going down."
Anyway, I liked it, but it wasnt as good as other comic book movies. I expected that though, so it WAS better than I expected.
