ok my goal is to cut to 150-155(yes i know smallish but for being 5'6 it'd look good). it is exactly 1lb aweek(deadline is 8/1/07). i was wondering what was the best way to approach this goal. going to do fullbody workouts 3x's a week and was going to do HIIT cardio 3x's aweek for 10-15mins 30sec sprint/1min jogg/fast walk(to get use to it). realistic?

what i was wanting to know is what s the best way to do this? i was going to try carb cycling but i don't really know what road to choose.

kinkery, that is very realistic. What do your stats, training history, and diet look like?

well i was sick the other day so i didn't eat much :( . but right now my diet is around 250-300g protein. 200 carbs. 130g. fats

Ok, so your going to want a nice clean bulk. I would suggest starting with the stickies and coming up with a detailed daily meal plan. Post that plan here and the more knowledgeable forum members will tweak it for you.

Were you cutting up to this point? when you went from 194 to 177? If so how long.

5 months is a lengthy time to be on a cut.

:wtf: I'm not going to clean bulk. i'm going to cut to 150-155lbs.

Iain asked a good question.

Personally, I wouldn't do full body workouts three times a week, but the HIIT is a good idea (keeps the intensity up). I love HIIT :). How does your normal weight routine look?

It seems like you are still eating a lot of calories (2970-3170); is your diet in check?

LoL Oooopppss. I dunno what I was thinking when I wrote that. Anyway, you still need to construct a balanced diet.
