Yesterday, after work I went outside in our picnic area and was going to sit down and write for a bit when I notice a cool cloud so I watched it. It was part of a fast moving herd but this one was different than the ones nearby it was dissolving into an invisible gash in the sky, then another one slipped into this same indiscernible sliver, as it did slowly the first cloud began to emerge further past where it had vanished. It was as if a ribbon of sky had come loose and were hanging down low enough for clouds to pass through it. I was tripping out trying to think what it could be, a cloaked alien spaceship, a new government sky camo project, my cloud busting powers actually work, a graphics glitch in the matrix or simply a slipstream of air tearing these clouds apart and then the water vapors rejoin after they pass through....I don't know I just wish I had a video camera cause it was one of the weirdest things I ever saw in nature....

We're even getting an inch here in Bama. Everything shuts down when that happens. But, don't let this weather fool ya. The globe is still heating up and the world's coming to an end if we don't pack in our SUVs and stop eating beef. In fact, don't even exhale if you can help it.

Latest weather report from DaMayor's back yard.....anywhere from 1"-6" of the white stuff expected. Here in the Midlands of S.C. (like the folks of Roids1ville in Bama) people freak out when there is a possibility of snow. I bet there's not a loaf of bread or gallon of milk left on any grocery store shelf, lol.
I remember Pittsburg a few years back, New Year's Eve.....now THAT was some serious snow.

Here in PA, we don't even call it snowfall until it exceeds 8 inches. Anything below 6 inches is just a flurry.
Here, they'd call 8" a Blizzard, lol. All but one of my employees have text'd me in the last 5 minutes...."IT'S SNOWING!!!" Good old S.C. snow...it'll be gone in twelve hours, lol.

We got about 3" here in Bama. That happens about once every 2 years, but it's gone within 24 hours. I think I even saw a seal who'd come down here to escape from the melting polar cap. Poor thing. Guess I shoulda clubbed it to put it out of its misery.
