Remember this is my first ever contest, went from 280 pounds of lazy blubber to this (213) Hope to be bigger (heavier) with a whole lot less bodyfat!!! :thumb:

Your doing great. Just need to come in a lil leaner. :thumb:

you need to understand that bodybuilding is an illusion, you keep saying "come in heavier", you need to focus on getting as lean as possible for a show, the more cut you are on stage, the bigger you will look.

I just feel like I lost a lot of size (muscle) and not enough weight(fat) Thats what I mean by heavier, I should've said bigger!!!

BTW Robert, your pics are awesome!!! Hope to someday look close to that!!!

well maybe you did, I don't know, it would depend on the type of diet you followed, how fast you lost the weight, etc.

however, realize that there is also intra-muscular fat, so when you get leaner your muscles may seem to be getting smaller due to losing the fat the marbles the muscles.

we all feel like we're small when we get lean though! :)

So true, and especially walking out in front of everyone. Talk about feeling like a lil' fish in a BIG pond!!!

Great Job man!!!! :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:
how old are you???

I think you look DAMN good! Perfect in my opinion. But I am looking at you as a woman, not a BB judge! ;) :thumb:

Nice work for your first comp. 280 to 213....that's great!!!!!

J and Rob are correct hon. If you plan on competing again, you should come in leaner. I can see you have nice genetics.......let the judges SEE it and your competitors fear it ;)

I'd focus on eating properly (depending on your goal) and hitting the weights.

May I ask how long it took you to drop the weight and all that you did?

4 days/wk and have had amazing results with P/RR/Sh training systems, do a search here at IM, you'll find what you need. Being 41 yr of age, i was still packing on good size with p/rr/sh. :thumb: :thumb: There are at least 2 dozen IM members that are on Gp's system that he created, the man himself is a monster and one of the most down to earth peeps i have ever met!
Being that was your first show you did an awsome job, losing that much is alot of hard work[been there/done that].
If you're thinking of competing again, give the p/rr/sh programs a whirl, keep your diet in order and i'm sure you'll come in leaner and bigger for the next one!!! :thumb:
What part of Illi do live btw?
i'm a northern wis packer fan[but lets not go there shall we!!!]  :(

Thank You for your compliment!! :D

Tank is right... there are ALOT of Imers using the P/RR/S program! INCLUDING me!! I do not compete, obviously, nor do I want to, BUT I have made significant changes with the program. GoPro aka Eric is a great guy who is always willing to help.. as are any of the members of Team GoPro if you are interested in P/RR/S. Tank and Ris are probably the two BIGGEST members.. but there are others, Deadbolt, Rock, Paynne, Randy, ME. ;)

You obviously have awesome genetics.. I think P/RR/S would be great for you!! IMHO. :thumb:

Will look into p/rr/s. Thanks for the advice!!! I'm in Collinsville. Like the Pack too, however used to live in .....dare I say it... Minneapolis!!! So I'm a huge Vikes fan. But I root on my Rams more!!! Wish Martz wasn't the coach, but thats another story!!! Is all the information about p/rr/s on the board? Thanks again

My pleasure!!! Thanks for the advice also, I will check into the p/rr/s system. :D

I started reducing calories about the end of September, beginning of October. Didn't really start cardio until about 8 to 10 weeks out. My weight was 283 the first week of October!!!
