A little bit more about hGH from someone who knows...
Click here for a little bit about how it works.
I'm on it for growth hormone deficiency (idiopathic hypopituitarism).
Some points, as a few people pointed out...
Depending on the dose, it can be very expensive. My small dose runs almost $300/mo. My insurance covers all but $25 of it.
It is not ingestible. Like insulin, hGH is a protein hormone and would be digested if taken orally. As far as shelf life, I use a cartridge and pen. I mix it once every two weeks and refrigerate it. A cartridge would actually keep for 28 days, refrigerated.
Three pharmaceuticals make hGH through recombinant technology. Pretty slick.
Growth hormone can raise blood sugar and cause insulin resistance, a precursor to Type II diabetes. I may be insulin resistant now because my dose of GH may be too high. My next blood test, in a few weeks will reveal.
Do not, I repeat, do not fool around with hGH if you do not know what you are doing. My usage is medically supervised, and even still, because hGH therapy is so new, my endo needed a release from me at the start of treatment.
Oh yes, one more thing... it is not the fountain of youth or miracle drug being screamed all over the media and internet. It has its place, but it also has its dangers.
