h.i.t. vs circuit training

Looking to shred up for the summer and was wondering which was more effective,and is 3 days really enough for these type of routines?I'm use to training one muscle group a week 4-5 days a week.I'm 215 pics in profile.
 
3 days a week or 4???
 
I do HIIT training 2 times a week and steady state cardio 3 to 4 times a week. HIIT is awesome but I sometimes switch it up to keep my body guessing. This will also break fat burning plateaus. I say work your way up in your cardio sessions and experiment with diffrent types to find that perfect fat burning sweet spot that works for you. This is what works for me.
 
good advice from ind. I like to switch it up too. The harder the work is, the more calories you burn, the more fat you lose. Keeping your hr in the "fat burning zone" will not result in more fat loss if you burn less calories.
