Hair Removal Creams

Okay, I've read a million ads and seen tons of commercials for hair removal creams/lotions.

I am going to either shave, wax, or use the cream on my chest. I've been making great gains, yet my pecs are burried in man fur.

I lean towards the cream b/c it moiturizes and might not irritate as bad as shaving, and it's cheaper than waxing.

Do they really work? Don't they irritate your skin? And does anyone know the mechanism behind their action? Do they wreck your follicles over time?

Dont use the cream... It is the WORST! Like nair and all the spray on shit.. It is chemicals that eat away at the hair and can cause burns on some people. Severe burns...
Waxing... I got waxed a few times, it hurts like a mofo. It also lasts the longest. Just remember to exfoliate before you wax, and the day after, so you dot break out too bad. If it is too expensive to have it done by a pro, I suggest using NADS and having someone help out a bit. It works a bit better if the hair is shorter too(1/4-1/2 inch in length).
Shaving.. This is probably the most economical, but can still cause irritation and razor burn. Plus it will be grown back in a day or two.
The best thing is to try out a bunch of shit, and see what works best for you. Kinda like I have lol

That's what I thought, regarding the chemicals. I just can't imagine something that makes hair fall out in ten minutes is gentle on the skin...I have heard burn stories, too.

I'll probably go the clip and wax route. I don't want to shave b/c everywhere else I shave it makes the hair denser, so I'm sure the chest would be no exception!

my girlfriend talked me into shaving the boys and it sucks. not only does it itch, i got realy bad razor burn and a bunch of ingrown hairs. wow thats a good mental image!lol

Yeah, once you start "shaving the boys" there's no turning back...unless you can deal with the excruciating itch as hair comes back, and then subsequent forest of hair growth.

yeah sux thats the last time for that. whats even funnier though is that a girl at work told me she talked her boyfriend into nairing them. fuk that!! she said he was in tears and ended up with a huge rash. shed of been out the door in my book but whatever,lol
