I have a sneaking suspicion that that tone on Are You Experienced is a re-processed cowbell to match the reverse guitar and drums.
 
I just got back from New York. I worked the St. Paddy's Day parade. Really boring parade. I can't get "o danny boy" and bag pipes out of my head. Mino and P-funk did you guys watch it? My compound was at E63rd street and 5th Ave. It was so windy and cold. I hate working outside in that crap.
