I recently got an ipod nano that I've been using while running/lifting but I hate the stock headphones. Anyone have any good, sweat proof head phones (affordable) for training with?

shure e2's, e3's, or e 5's. 100$, 200$, and $600 respectively.

or etymotics.

this should be in open chat.

Yeah.. probably the wrong forum for this question. If anyone wants to move it...

The shure's look interesting but how much better do they fit than the standard ipod ones? They look like a similar style. Same thing with etymotics.

Do you own either one?

I just want to make sure they are secure and sweat proof for lifting, jogging, sprints and heavy/speed bag work. Extra high sound quality is less important than a comfortable fit to me

I own the Shure E2c's. Couldn't justify forking out more than a hundred bux for headphones. They fit really well. The cord wraps over your ear, then fits tightly inside. Each set comes with 3 different types of tips. And each type, has small, medium, and large sized.

These are more high end phones. They are IEI (In ear isolation) type. You will not hear a thing but your music.

Depending on the music you listen to, one set will sound better then the other.
